Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with over four years of experience in civil and commercial litigation to join mid-sized law firm's dynamic team in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex cases, including bankruptcy, breach of contract, real estate disputes, torts, and/or general litigation. Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of civil and commercial litigation cases, from inception to resolution. - Draft and file pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail. - Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-structured arguments for court proceedings. - Oversee discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests. - Represent clients effectively in hearings, mediations, and trials. - Collaborate with team members to develop litigation strategies tailored to client needs. - Ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural rules throughout the litigation process. - Utilize case management and document management software to organize and track case progress. - Prepare clients for depositions, trials, and settlement negotiations. - Analyze case outcomes and provide strategic advice to clients based on findings. Requirements - At least 4 years of experience in civil and/or commercial litigation. - Proficiency in case management and document management software. - Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs with accuracy. - Strong understanding of discovery procedures and trial preparation. - Excellent research and analytical skills to support case arguments. - Former clerkship experience is highly preferred. - Effective communication skills for client interactions and courtroom presentations. - Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.
