THE ROLE: Art Director

American Student Assistance (ASA) is national nonprofit that is changing the way kids learn about careers and prepare for their futures through access to career-readiness information and experiences.

ASA fulfills its mission through free digital-first direct experiences philanthropy advocacy thought leadership groundbreaking research and impact investing. We believe that exploring career possibilities as early as middle school and providing access to education-to-career pathways aligned with ones passions and goals will result in greater confidence and long-term success for all students.

We are looking for an Art Director.

What Youll Do:

• Work with copywriter(s) to brainstorm a wide range of creative assets that communicate our brand personality and messages and motivate students to engage with our digital ecosystem
• Keep a pulse on the latest social media pop culture and Gen Z/Alpha trends to continually discover and highlight new ways of thinking working and engaging our student audience
• Produce video/motion graphic social ads other demand generation assets
• Design organic static social assets along with an occasional white paper and deck
• Film edit and produce thought leadership videos

About You:

• Expert in motion graphics and graphic design (using the Adobe Creative Suite with the portfolio to back it up)
• A strategic thinker who can connect social trends to product benefits in authentic/relatable ways
• Tech-savvy with an interest in Gen Z and Gen Alpha marketing (you love a good meme or TikTok trend)
• A self-starter with a team mentality who is extremely organized detail oriented highly driven and able to prioritize tasks
• Confident pitching to senior team members and then receiving and incorporating feedback

Salary Range: $77000 $100000
