Associate Sales Representative – Orthopedics

Location: Charleston, SC
Compensation: Starting salary $70,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Associate Sales Representative to join our Orthopedics team in Charleston, SC. You will work closely with a Senior Sales Representative to support surgeon relationships, gain deep product knowledge, and develop the skills required to manage a territory independently over time.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts within an established orthopedic territory

• Assist in the operating room by providing product support and ensuring proper use of orthopedic implants and instruments

• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital stakeholders

• Prepare for and attend surgeries, case coverage, and in-services

• Manage inventory, loaner kits, and product logistics

• Learn and communicate the clinical and economic value of orthopedic solutions

• Participate in ongoing sales training, product education, and professional development

• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 0–2 years of sales, healthcare, or related experience preferred

• Strong interest in medical device sales and orthopedics

• High level of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic

• Ability to learn technical and clinical information quickly

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and variable hours as required by surgical schedules

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the territory
