Job Description

Our client, a well-established insurance organization, is looking to hire a Medical Billing & Claims Specialist to start right away!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers

• Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims

• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility

• Track payments and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims

• Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies

• Maintain detailed records of all billing and claims activity

• Additional administrative duties as needed and directed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Certification in Medical Billing/Coding or Healthcare Administration

• 1–2 years of experience in medical billing and claims preferred (entry-level candidates with relevant coursework considered)

• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and CPT/ICD-10 codes

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities

• Experience with medical billing software and Microsoft Office
