Our client, a well-established insurance organization, is looking to hire a Medical Billing & Claims Specialist to start right away!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers
Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims
Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility
Track payments and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
Maintain detailed records of all billing and claims activity
Additional administrative duties as needed and directed
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Certification in Medical Billing/Coding or Healthcare Administration
1–2 years of experience in medical billing and claims preferred (entry-level candidates with relevant coursework considered)
Familiarity with insurance guidelines and CPT/ICD-10 codes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
