Location: New York, NY (Hybrid; quarterly meetings virtually and or/ in Manhattan)
Type: Part-time, Volunteer/Unpaid (501(c)(3))
Term: 2-year renewable term
Time Commitment: ~4–6 hours/month
Job Summary
Maya’s Hope supports orphaned, impoverished, and special-needs children in Ukraine and the Philippines with surgeries, therapy, education, and basic needs.
We’re seeking mission-driven Board Members in NYC to provide governance, strategy, and fundraising leadership.
Quarterly board meetings, committee service, and support for our annual Maya's Hope Lotus Ball .
Give/ Get is required and to be discussed during interview.

Maya’s Hope (EIN 27-3889674) is a New York-based nonprofit founded in 2010 dedicated to improving the lives of children in Ukraine and the Philippines through emergency medical care, therapies, education sponsorships, and essential supplies (diapers, formula, medications). Role Summary
Board Members steward the organization’s mission and long-term health. You’ll provide governance and fiscal oversight , help shape strategy , and act as an ambassador and fundraiser for our programs and events.
