This role involves providing skilled technical support in a cardiac catheterization lab within an acute care hospital setting. The Cath Lab Tech performs a variety of procedures, assists with equipment, and maintains infection control standards. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience and specific certifications. On-call responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities:
- Performing cardiac catheterization procedures (diagnostic and interventional).
- Assisting with cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, and other procedures.
- Interpreting dysrhythmias.
- Performing equipment setup and maintaining sterile technique.
- Recognizing and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and isolation precautions.
- Charting patient information using Cerner.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.
- ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and RCIS certifications.
- Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Devices, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Rotablader atherectomy, and Scrub Procedures.
- Proficiency in equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and sterile technique.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Active license as a Cath Lab Tech.
- Experience with middle and older adult patient populations.

Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required as needed.
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.
- No floating to other areas within the facility.
- Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
- Guaranteed hours with a maximum of 36 hours of call-offs allowed per 13-week assignment without pay. Additional call-offs will be billed to the client.
- Maximum 5-day return-to-office (RTO) restriction.
- Must have an active license; pending licenses are not accepted.
Scheduling:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Two to three weekend shifts per contract.
- Schedule flexibility may be possible, subject to manager approval.
