Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee the new construction of high-rise residential projects. The role involves managing 1-2 projects at a time, focusing on electrical services, emergency generators, cogeneration systems, CCTV, intercoms, and fire alarms. This position requires scheduling, ensuring safety, handling RFIs and submittals, and collaborating with assistant project managers, estimators, and owners.
Responsibilities - Oversee electrical services, emergency generators, cogeneration systems, CCTV, intercoms, and fire alarms in new construction projects.
- Manage project scheduling and ensure safety compliance.
- Handle RFIs and submittals effectively.
- Work closely with assistant project managers, estimators, and project owners.
- Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Essential Skills - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
- 4-7 years of professional experience in the construction industry, specifically in new construction high-rise residential projects on the electrical side.
- Proficiency in electrical codes and blueprint reading.
- Experience with Procore and project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction, circuit installation, wiring, and conduit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with ground-up residential projects.
- Project experience throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
- Confidence to work independently and evaluate technical abilities swiftly.
Work Environment
The work environment includes managing projects throughout New York City's five boroughs, with project values ranging from $6-$20 million. You will be evaluated heavily on technical ability, task completion speed, and confidence in working independently. The role involves new construction high-rise residential and commercial projects, focusing on electrical services, emergency generators, cogeneration systems, CCTV, intercoms, and fire alarms. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $61.00/hr.
