Working 5x10's schedule As a **Electrician Helper** for our PICCo GTTP Project in Orange, Texas, you will contribute to our team by: + Assist Journeyman and work closely with other crafts as needed + Works outdoors in all weather conditions. + Safe use of hand and power tools + Works around hazardous wiring. + Measures, cuts, bend, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using rulers, hand tools, power tools. + Splices wires using hand tools, soldering equipment, tape or terminal gaps. + Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools. + Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels. + Unwinds and pulls cable. + Connects power cable to equipment using hand tools. + Tests the installed equipment for safety and electrical compatibility. + Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above ground as necessary. What you will bring to the role: + Experience in the industrial electrical industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with37-47 months as a electrician + strong math knowledge + Insure electrical installation is per current applicable codes + knowledge of the national electrical code + pass pre employment job requirements PCL is an innovative, safety-oriented company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work everyday.
