GTA is currently seeking an Environmental Project Manager with 5 or more years of experience for our Somerset, New Jersey Environmental Department. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned environmental professional to grow with us! This position provides significant opportunities for long-term professional and financial growth and is ideal for a highly motivated individual at the Project Manager level.

Environmental Project Manager Responsibilities include :

• Manage projects from proposal to completion, including scope, budget and schedule
• Prepare proposals, technical reports, cost estimates and other deliverables
• Perform and write Phase I ESAs for residential and commercial projects
• Collect soil, soil gas, indoor air (i.e., vapor intrusion), and groundwater samples
• Evaluate analytical data and draw conclusions
• Coordinate and oversee the work of junior staff and field technicians
• Periodically represent GTA at outside networking events to build client relationships (required)

Environmental Project Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant environmental experience
• Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and technical guidance (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Highly proficient at aerial photography and map interpretation
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills
• GIS experience a plus (not required)
• Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to focus on complex tasks
