Location

Dignity Plus Office is located in Central Square NY. Twenty minutes North of Syracuse via 1-81. We are licensed in Oswego, Onondaga, Oneida and Madison counties. Majority of our clients reside in Oswego and Onondaga Counties.

Type of Employment

Full-time or Part-time position. We do not like to say per diem, because for scheduling purposes at least ONE routine shift is required per week.

Salary Range and Benefits

Hourly 20 - 35 per hour depending on License, LPN or RN, and level of care required for particular client assigned. Earned Time Off Sign on Bonus Benefits available Retirement, Simple IRA plan with employer contribution

Job Description

Home Care Nurses role is to ensure quality and safe delivery of home health care services that reflect the home health care agency philosophy and standards of home health and nursing care of assigned clients. You will be caring for your assigned clients 1 to 1 in their homes.

Skills and Qualifications

Skills Organizational, communication, adaptability, reliability, confidentiality, and reporting Degree in Nursing is REQUIRED Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License or Licensed Practical Nurse License REQUIRED Valid Drivers License REQUIRED Experience is Not required but recommended. Dignity Plus will take the time to have you orient with one of our current Home Care Nurses at your assigned clients.

Physical Requirements

Visual and hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written and verbal communication. Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. Ability to deal effectively with stress.

Performance Responsibilities and Standards

Ensures quality and safe delivery of home health care services. Following the POC created by the Director of Nursing. Implements current nursing practice. Fulfills additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary. Promotes effective written and verbal communication with Office Staff. Provides information regarding equipment and supply needs of the home health care agency. Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently Participates in all aspects of Dignity Plus Policies and Procedures Promotes and maintains an agency environment that follows federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Participates in regular in-services and continued education. Understand that at anytime home health care agency may do drug and polygraph testing.
