Job Description

The Berry Network Office of Northwestern Mutual is seeking an Investment Specialist who works with financial representatives in our Planning Department to offer training and operational support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with assigned representatives Conduct and coordinate 1:1 training with individual representatives and lead group trainings as necessary Prepare integrated plans using Northwestern Mutual software(s) (PX and Illustration System) Prepare investment advisor proposals Review and submitapplications for insurance and investments Actively manage underwriting and onboarding process, and regularly follow up on outstanding requirements Process and monitorservices requests including account openings, policy changes, asset movement, and EFT drafts Monitoring industry trends and performing research as needed To include miscellaneous projects assigned by manager

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels Ability to maintaina high degree of confidentiality and professionalism Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills Strong attention to details and accuracy Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Committed to professional development (e.g., licensing, registration, designations) Series 6 and 63 Required; Series 7 preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required plus 2 years of related experience and/or training
