Childcare Specialist

Giggles Drop In Childcare in Cary, NC and Raleigh, NC are looking for creative, enthusiastic and motivated individuals for a position in drop-in childcare. Giggles has an active play environment with children ages 12 months to 12 years. Position to be filled will include day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the safety of all children in the center
• Organize meal and snack times
• Change diapers of children not toilet trained
• Help children use the restroom as needed
• Communicate with Lead Childcare Specialist about information needing to be communicated to parents

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification required
• Candidate must be at least 18 years old

After School Teacher

Giggles Drop-in Childcare of Cary is looking for a creative, intelligent, kid loving after school teacher to assist up to 15 children, K-5, with transition from school to after school program. Position to be filled is Monday - Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm. CPR/First Aid required. Hourly pay negotiable per experience. Position will begin immediately.

Possibility for extra hours if desired.

Responsibilities

• Pick children up from various schools in the Giggles van
• Serve snacks
• Assist with homework
• Organize and play games

Qualifications

• Willing to drive a 15 passenger van
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have fully clean driving record
• Good communication skills
