As the NICU Nurse Manager , youll play a vital role assisting the Director in overseeing all department activities, ensuring exceptional care for neonates and their families . Youll foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement in the Womens Services Units.
Collaborate closely with the Director to coordinate department efforts aligned with the facilitys mission and vision
Lead and support nursing staff by providing clinical guidance and leadership
Oversee and participate in Performance Improvement initiatives to boost patient outcomes
Ensure nursing care delivery follows the nursing process and quality standards
Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care strategies
Manage staffing, scheduling, and foster a positive, supportive work environment
Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience (Manager or Charge Nurse)
BSN required
Current RN license in Texas or multi-state compact license (Texas RN license required within 60 days of hire)
Current BLS (AHA) certification
3 PM 11 PM
Weekends with rotation and on-call responsibilities
Competitive hourly rate: $40 - $58/hr (based heavily on years of experience)
