Job Description

Printing Press Operator Location Imperial, CA :

Primary Function

Under general supervision, provides reproduction services; operates and maintains printing press and related equipment to produce copies of business forms, reports, publications, and materials, and binds finished products; uses typesetting and graphics software programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree with a major in computer graphic design or related field and three years of printing, binding and print shop operation and safety procedures experience. Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required printing, binding and print shop operation and safety procedures experience.

Licensing & Certification Requirements

Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.

Other Requirements/Testing

A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment. Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
