Job Description

We are hiring a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the psychiatric pediatric setting in Norman, Oklahoma! This is a full time position, 13 week contract (at minimum), that has guaranteed 36 hours per week and pays $42.00/Hour for local nurses. Travel pay packages available for travel nurses - up to $1750/week for 36 hour work week! Must have previous psychiatric and pediatric nursing experience. The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings. The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.
