Refrigeration Mechanic

• Arlington, WA - relocation assistance offered
• $35-$50/hour DOE
• Days, Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

We are working with an established Food Manufacturing company based in **Arlington, WA. **They are recruiting for a **Refrigeration Mechanic **to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) on the 1st shift in return for a salary in the region of between $35-$50/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Refrigeration Mechanic include:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the refrigeration systems in the plant
• Working with ammonia refrigeration systems and repairing system components
• Working with/maintaining a spiral freezer
• Reading of gauges and instruments
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Monitoring operation of equipment
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and materials

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems maintenance
• Certification as an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician from an accredited institution
• Experience with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other ammonia refrigeration components
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and controls related to refrigeration
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (not required)
• Associate's degree or certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field is a plus
