Your day to day as a Registered Nurse - Emergency & Trauma Services

As a Relief (PRN) Registered Nurse in Emergency & Trauma Services at Southwest Health System, Inc., you will deliver nursing care with efficiency, safety, and courtesy, utilizing best practices in nursing procedures. What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Relief (PRN) Registered Nurse in Emergency & Trauma Services at Southwest Health System, Inc., you must possess a blend of educational and practical skills.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred.
• Enroll in Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) curriculum for BLS
• ACLS and PALS upon hire. Maintain current RQI certifications throughout employment.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC Course Completion within 12 months of hire.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
