Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting function, providing  relevant information to ownership and external stakeholders as necessary. 

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with all aspects of accounting  functions and a flair for making sense of the abstract when circumstances necessitate a deeper dive.

Ultimately, you will provide Isotropic with accurate quantitative information on the financial position,  liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations that  govern the communications industry.

Responsibilities
• Manage small team tasked with accounting for company transactions
• Establish effective, comprehensive processes and related internal controls, including accounts  payable and receivable, in support of the accounting function
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Present/review financial statements with ownership monthly
• Provide necessary information to external tax preparer
• Prepare annual budget forecasts
• Manage annual financial audit
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Ensure accounting team compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Ad-hoc management requests

Requirements
• 5-10-year accounting experience
• GAAP expertise
• Knowledge of/experience with QuickBooks Desktop
• Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail, and good analytical skills.
• BS in Accounting and/or Finance
• CPA license or progress toward obtaining
