About Us

WeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated  Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee . WeVote is a movement of over 120 active passionate, part-time volunteers (starting with the founders) who build mobile technologies that will touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end UX design projects from research and ideation through to delivery
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows to communicate design solutions effectively
  • Collaborate with volunteers across teams to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with organizational goals
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and consistency in design across platforms
  • Help define UX standards and maintain design consistency across projects

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design work
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
  • Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with a distributed, volunteer-based team
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables
  • 3+ hours per week during our core team hours M–F 9 a.m. – 6 p.m PT
  • You are currently located in the US
