Vascular Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer:
SWICFT Cardiology, located in downtown Naples, is actively seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer for a busy, fast-paced cardiology office. This is an opportunity to join our team in this expanding practice located in downtown Naples. We are looking for bright, organized individual that will follow instructions and clinical orders but who also have initiative.

Job duties include: Looking for a vascular ultrasound technologist to work in physician office to preform carotid ultrasound, abdominal aortic ultrasound and upper and lower extremity vascular and arterial studies. The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs high-quality fixed and mobile diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental policies and professional standards.

As an independent practitioner, the sonographer collaborates closely with physicians, medical staff, and external partners to ensure accurate testing and exceptional patient care. Additional responsibilities include contributing to performance improvement initiatives and promoting a positive patient, physician, and employee experience.

General computer proficiency is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography, non-invasive cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and training.
• Must have experience as required for registry in echocardiography and vascular. technology/sonography by either the American registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Prior medical office experience preferred by not required.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records.
• Athenahealth experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Current BLS.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Part time.

Salary: Variable on experience and proficiency.

Benefits:

• Competitive pay based on experience and credentials. Average $35-$50 per study.

Medical specialties:

• Cardiology.

Schedule:

• 6-8 to hour shift - one day per week.
• 12-14 studies per shift.
• Typically 8am-4pm- No weekends

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Required).
• Vascular Ultrasound : 1 year (Required).
