Shift: 10 HR Days | 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Panama City, FL. This permanent, full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical and pharmacy services within an acute care setting. You'll work alongside a compassionate and collaborative team committed to excellence in patient care.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications through direct oversight, interpretation, verification, and consultation. This role also includes supervising technical staff and actively participating in multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and accurately verify medication orders into the pharmacy system.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals according to established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patient drug therapy for contraindications, drug-drug and drug-food interactions, allergies, and dosage appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Experience:
  • Open to New Graduate Pharmacists who have completed a hospital-based internship .
  • Required: Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience or successful completion of a PGY-1 residency in a hospital setting.
  • Required: Acute care hospital experience within the last year .
• Licensure:
  • Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Florida.
