Program Manager - CBP (4737)at SMX(View all jobs) ( Washington, DC SMX is seeking a Program Manager responsible for a contract that provides business intelligence support services to assist the customer in effectively and efficiently identify cargo, individuals and conveyances that may present risk to the United States; conduct terrorism analysis and global assessments that convey changes in terrorism threats and identify emerging threats; develop and evaluate intelligence based targeting rules and intelligence driven special operations; and coordinate and enhance analysis and targeting efforts. This position requires a Top-Secret clearance with DHS suitability and is onsite in Washington, DC. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** 1) Provide overall project management assistance, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and overall financial management. Specific duties shall include the preparation of plans and schedules based on technical and management data; tracking budget and expended funds; scheduling and conducting technical and planning meetings; conducting reviews; and preparing status reports. 2) Weekly status meetings to discuss status of projects, issues, and problem areas related to the projects. 3) Provide oral presentations and/or executive briefings as needed. 4) Implement an iterative or Agile based program and project management and deployment methodology, which will allow for effective scope control and risk management. 5) Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as directed by the Government in support of the development/deployment of future functionality. Shall work with the IPTs to ensure alignment and compliance between deliverables, schedule, scope and agile methodologies. **Required Skills:** *Job requires current DHS Suitability with TS clearance. *Experience managing teams of up to 20-40 staff *Experience managing subcontractors *Certified PMP *Experience in full lifecycle staff management to include recruiting, hiring, terminations, employee performance goal setting/reviews. *Experience generating/reporting Earned Value reports *Experience working with DHS and its components *Managing contracts valued over $75M **Desired Skills/Experience:** * SAFe Agile Certification * EVMS certification **Application Deadline:** 11-28-2025 \#LI-SA1 The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
