Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead sophisticated electrical design initiatives within the building construction sector. This role requires a dynamic individual to provide technical proficiency and strategic direction for projects, encompassing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems. You will be responsible for reviewing and certifying complex electrical projects, leading design strategies, and mentoring junior engineers. Additionally, you will troubleshoot construction-related issues and maintain effective communication with clients and contractors.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical design experience in the building construction industry, with at least 5 years in Canada.
• Possession of an Engineering license in Ontario (P.Eng.).
• Demonstrated expertise in complex fire alarm and electrical systems across multi-unit residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes including OBC, OESC, CSA, and others.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines.
