MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE (26' OR LARGER BOX TRUCK)

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced delivery driver for a construction materials distribution company in Northern San Diego, CA (Miramar).

Schedule:   MUST BE FLEXIBLE Monday – Friday start time can be as early as 2 AM and end at 5:30 PM with OT as required. 

Requirements for the Delivery Driver 

• 1 year of recent experience driving a 26' or longer box truck
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Must pass Background, DOT drug screen, E-Verify, and Physical 
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs 
• Must have a clean DMV record 
• Must have steel-toe boots
• Prior experience in roles such as Box Truck Driver, Route Delivery Driver, Local Truck Driver, Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, Straight Truck Driver, Final Mile Box Truck Driver, Furniture Delivery Driver, Appliance Delivery Driver, Class B Truck Driver is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver 

• Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory
• Operate delivery vehicles (trucks, vans) safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations. 
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. 
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., fluid levels, tire pressure). 
• This may include assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as loading/unloading incoming shipments, general housekeeping, and assisting with special projects.
