Since opening our doors in 2006, The Lepra India Trust has created a profound and lasting impact:

  • Treated over 35,000 leprosy patients through vital partnerships with Missionaries of Charity in Seemapuri and impactful health camps at Lodhi Road and Majnu ka Tila.
  • Empowered more than 5,000 Below Poverty Line youth with essential vocational skills including Computers, Beauty, Sewing and Tally.
  • Provided specialized educational support to over 200 hearing-impaired children.
  • Targeted speech therapy sessions provided to over 100 children, making significant strides in their communication skills.
  • Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) accredited special educators and speech therapists.
  • 85% school attendance rate.
  • Clear, positive impacts on our children’s speech, comprehension, cognitive abilities, and social behavior.
  • Consistently demonstrating strong academic progress. Since 2024, our students have registered with National Institute of Open Schooling Examinations. 18 hearing-impaired children successfully appeared for NIOS examinations in February 2024, and another twenty successfully appeared in February 2025.
  • Increased parental involvement with regular Parent- Teacher meetings, as families witness the remarkable development of their children.
  • Daily provision of nutritious hot meals, prepared in-house, directly contributes to the improved overall health and well-being of the children.
