Certified Computer Course By Aptech (Hardware and Software) - Vocational

In today’s world, to be computer savvy is more of a necessity than a luxury and crucial for the job market. The Lepra India Trust provides an opportunity to all BPL (below poverty line) neighborhood children to learn computers as part of a vocational program.

Certified by Aptech, we have a six-month computer software and hardware course for beginners and an advanced course as well – both conducted by trained teachers. The study and exam material for these courses is also provided by Aptech.

Keeping in mind our intent for integration, computer classes for the hearing impaired were introduced in April 2006. After having received their certification from Aptech, many of our hearing impaired students have joined companies and are doing extremely well. In present (July 2019), there are 50 students at present. Until April 2019, 837 students have completed their courses at Lepra and received certificate from Aptech.

This knowledge of computers has been very effective in opening up a new world of information for all our students.
