Our transformative six-month beauty culture training module is certified by BRIDGES (an initiative led by Mrs. Nilofer Currimbhoy). Launched in 2008, this course initially focused on hearing-impaired students and the healthy children of leprosy patients. Over the past five years, it has significantly benefited girls from economically weaker sections, with over 800 graduates completing the program. Beyond technical skills, the Trust emphasizes the development of crucial interpersonal skills, essential for success in this profession. Since its inception, more than 1,000 young women and a few male students have received diplomas, with many securing employment in established salons or successfully establishing their parlours.
In our endeavor to develop the social and interactive skills, an essential skill set for this profession, some training and workshops have been conducted by the Taj Group of Hotels who have facilitated our students to obtain exposure to current professional trends in the beauty and market.
