Certified Computer Course By Aptech (Hardware and Software) - Vocational
In today’s world, to be computer savvy is a necessity crucial for the job market. TLIT provides an opportunity to all BPL (below poverty line) neighborhood children to learn computers as part of a vocational program.
Certified by Aptech, TLIT runs a six-month computer software and hardware course for beginners as also an advanced course, conducted by trained teachers. The study and examination material for these courses is generously provided by Aptech.
Keeping in mind our intent to help disabled children to integrate fully, computer classes for the hearing impaired were introduced in April 2006. After having received their certification from Aptech, many of our hearing impaired students have successfully found employment. Until December 2019, 878 students had completed their courses at TLIT and received certificates from Aptech.
The knowledge of computers has been very effective in opening up a new world of information to disadvantaged youth, especially the hearing impaired, for whom competence on computers has opened a new form of communication to the outside world. Today, all our children, from tiny tots to senior classes, attend computer classes.
