VOCATIONAL TRAINING: SKILLS FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE

At The Lepra India Trust, we believe that vocational training is a powerful tool for empowerment, particularly for individuals facing unique challenges. Our programs are designed to address the stigma and limited opportunities often encountered by the healthy children of leprosy patients. We have also expanded our reach to include youth from economically weaker sections and hearing-impaired children, ensuring that a wider demographic benefits from our skill-building initiatives. Many of our courses are even integrated into the NIOS curriculum, further validating their quality and relevance.

Comprehensive Skill Development Programs

We offer a diverse array of vocational courses, developed within our non-formal education framework, to equip young people with the skills they need to thrive. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our collaborations with renowned certification partners, including BRIDGES (an initiative led by Shenaz Hussain and Nelofar Currimbhoy), SINGER India Pvt Ltd, and TALLY Education Pvt Ltd, and formerly APTECH Computer Education. Through these partnerships, we have successfully skilled nearly 2,000 young individuals in essential areas such as computer software and hardware, beauty culture, and tailoring.
